Since we have rather adventurous tastebuds, I thought it would be a skilful idea to endeavor out 15 weird nutrient combinations that people have tried making at abode.
Near of the ingredients can be found at your nearest supermarket or dollar shop so if you're assuming enough to try them, feel free to brand these at home.
1. Durian + Rice + Milo
One of the combinations that caused quite a stir was the durian, rice and Milo dish. My showtime question when I saw it was: Why?
The durian texture DID NOT go well with the rice at all. Perhaps if it was fried durian it might work, but the creamy consistency of the durian flesh and the rice was only weird.
The taste of durian too overpowered everything and I could barely taste the Milo. Who knows, peradventure die-hard fans of durian might like this combination.

2. Fries + Ice Foam
One of the biggest questions has ever been whether or non fries should be dipped in ice cream.
I've ever thought it was a normal affair to do, but it turns out there's a whole other group that is strongly confronting this combination. They fifty-fifty think that information technology's weird as heck. What?! I've been doing this my whole life!
The ice-cold sweetness with the crispy salty fries is basically two of my favourite things in one bite! How tin anyone non like this?

So we chanced upon a video of a lady making a tuna sandwich. Sounds fine, correct? Wrong! The ingredient that gave this tuna sandwich the golden ticket to be part of this list is fruit punch. (By the way, this lady swears by it.)
We followed her video and fabricated our regular tuna mayo. Then, we were supposed to pour in some fruit punch and mix everything up.
As if that's not bad enough, we needed to spread our Tuna-Mayo-Fruit Punch mix on the bread then dip the entire thing in a cup of fruit punch. Yep, I could hear my tum crying for help.
What's bizarre most this is that it's revolting at start, and so it's fine, then it'southward gross once more considering of the icky aftertaste. If y'all're adventurous enough to endeavour this, nosotros recommend preparing a big drinking glass of water beforehand.

four. Ham & Jam
When one of my friends mentioned the combination of ham and jam to me, I was mildly disgusted. I had to find out if people agreed or disagreed with me and so I decided to create a poll on Instagram. I was shocked that there were actually people who would eat this philharmonic.
Someone mentioned that it's similar eating Christmas ham or turkey with cranberry sauce or jam. Hmm, information technology's a lot more palatable if you think about information technology in that way.
We realized that if we spread the jam evenly, the saltiness from the ham will balance out everything. I would actually eat this once again but just if there's zero else to consume.

5. Cheetos + Milk
I've seen this all over the Internet and I tin't believe that there are people who actually like this.
You know what they say, one man's trash is another human being's treasure.
First of all, the Cheetos-infused milk was way too salty to be consumed. And the Cheetos pieces were soaked in milk and lost the crunch, leaving the Cheetos soggy and gross.
I of my friends tried it though, and he finished the entire bowl – I guess he's the 1% of the population that liked this combination.

vi. Chimera Tea Rice
With all the bubble tea craze going strong, information technology'due south no surprise that people are trying to incorporate it into everything. Someone even tried making rice with bubble tea. It sparked quite a controversy when information technology went viral online. Has the boba craze gone besides far?
Surprisingly, most of my friends liked it or at least they thought this tasted fine.
Withal, it didn't sit well with me. Maybe it'due south because I'm a rice-lover, so I prefer to go out my rice solitary to get the best fragrance from it. Though I have to agree with my friends that the texture might be better if I used a stickier type of rice similar glutinous rice.

Why would anyone create this durian and curry Maggi philharmonic is beyond me. I scraped off the flesh of the durian and added it to a bowl of back-scratch Maggi.
I'm non sure if that was a right move merely either fashion, information technology's made the soup incredibly thick and creamy.
I swear I felt a petty chip of bile coming back up my throat when I tried to take a swig of information technology. I tin can't fifty-fifty brainstorm to describe this except that it's admittedly rancid.

8. Pickles + Peanut Butter Sandwich
The peanut butter and pickles sandwich might be a normal combination in The States simply it's rarely heard of in Asian countries. I decided to requite it a shot even though I don't ordinarily consume pickles.
So in society to be fair, I asked my friends to throw in their opinions about this combination too. The creamy, vinegary, sugariness and sour flavours went surprisingly well together.
Though I'm not a big fan of pickles, I would probably consume this once more if I had zippo else in my pantry.

9. Oreos Dipped In Orange Juice
Dipping Oreos in milk? Mmmm. Dipping Oreos in orange juice? Hmmm. Nosotros put this to the exam since information technology'southward also ane of the combinations that divided communities online.
To be honest, it was honestly quite subtle. After it was dipped in orange juice, the beige tasted like ane of those old school lemon biscuits. It didn't affect the gustatory modality of the cream that much which was good.
A weird culling to milk merely I'll definitely attempt this once again.

What is with people replacing milk with orange juice? Even if I ran out of milk at home, I would've never thought of adding orangish juice to my cereal. But since I'm writing an article most weird nutrient combinations, information technology seemed like a skilful item to add to the list.
Unlike the peanut butter and pickles sandwich, somehow this sweetness and sour combination didn't get well together at all. Although it's not completely inedible, I'm besides used to cereal with milk. I'm sorry but I but can't concord with the people who eat their cereal with orange juice.

11. Cheese + Peanut Butter + Ketchup Sandwich
Ketchup and cheese don't sound also bad but whenpeanut butter is added into the equation, I was a little sceptical about how it would turn out.
Honestly, it wasn't that bad as a whole. You can sense of taste the different layers – the savoury cheese, the tangy ketchup, and the sugariness and salty peanut butter.
I recollect the ketchup was and so strong that it made the whole sandwich taste like a cheeseburger except with peanut butter.

12. BobaOmelette
Like I mentioned to a higher place, people are adding pearls to everything and anything. Someone thought it would exist a cracking thought to add boba pearls to an omelette.
Sense of taste-wise there's non much to complain almost, however, I can't say the same about the texture.

13. Boba Mee Goreng
Another everyday detail that people have added bobapearls to is Mee Goreng. Ugh,so gross. Sure, pearls are good just do people honestly have to add information technology to EVERYTHING?

This combination of Milo powder and back-scratch Maggi is a form of culinary disgrace. Sometimes information technology's okay to put 2 of your favourite things together but sometimes it's not. And this is i of those instances when it's not.
The noodles alone are fine merely the whole point of eating back-scratch Maggi is that y'all desire to taste the curry season. Add together the Milo powder in and all you're going to get is a thick Milo broth that's mildly spicy.

fifteen. *BONUS* Nutella Chicken Pasta + Twisties
How do people come up up with this stuff anyway? So for the concluding particular on my list, I decided to switch things upward a little. Instead of searching online for weird food combos that people fabricated, we tried creating one by cartoon lots. I asked my friend to write different ingredients on each piece of newspaper and to fold it up so I wouldn't know what's written on information technology.
I then proceeded to pick four which resulted in Nutella, chicken, pasta and Twisties. Oh boy.
While the Nutella and chicken were cooking, it smelled amazing. But the end product was an entirely unlike story. Topped with some Twisties crumbs, this dish was…peculiar, to say the least.
It sent all sorts of confusing signals from my palate to my brain. The supposedly savoury dish had become overwhelmingly sweetness and my brain just couldn't embrace what was going on.
I don't know why I subjected myself to this experiment, but I got to acknowledge that it was an interesting experience finding out how nasty some of you lot guys are. Some of these combinations aren't completely unpalatable but some are simply downright inedible.
Moral of the story is, please only leave your food alone.
